Volvo S90 Car: Two Powerful Hybrid Motors
Two versions of the S90 are now available. The first one is the regular S90, activated by a mild hybrid motor. The second is the S90 Recharge, a rechargeable hybrid version.
For the first one, the old T6 motor was replaced by the B6. This engine is a 4-cylinder turbo combined with a 48 V hybrid system, which allows to optimize its performances and consumption. The Volvo car has 295 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque.
As for the rechargeable hybrid version, it is activated by a T8 motor, which functions on an 11.6 kWh battery. This allows it to reach 400 hp and 472 lb-ft of torque! Also, it’s possible to drive it in EV mode for distances going up to 61 km to reduce its carbon emission.
For better stability during tough road conditions, all-wheel drive is standard with every sedan. In both cases, the motor combines with the 8-speed automatic gearbox named Geartronic. It’s also possible to drive in manual mode!

Volvo S90 Interior: A Luxurious Compartment
Is Volvo a luxury brand? The answer is yes. After all, Volvo constructs high quality vehicles. As explained by the Motortrend experts:

The visual aspect isn’t the only strength of the Volvo S90 interior, which is, more than anything, spacious and comfortable. The front seats can be adjusted many ways thanks to:

- Lumbar support in 4 directions

As for the back-seat passengers, they benefit from much legroom in the mid-size sedan.
